CHAIRMAN OF VITAFOAM PLC

Dr. Bamidele Osuolale Makanjuola

Dr Bamidele is a first class Chemical Engineering graduate of University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University), Ile-Ife. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Chemical Engineering and Economics from the Loughborough University of Technology, United Kingdom.  

He is a member of both the Polymer Institute of Nigeria and a Fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers. He became the Executive Director in Charge of Corporate Planning and Development for the group in December 2001 and was appointed Managing Director on 1st April, 2006, a position he held until his retirement on 30th September, 2012.

Dr. Nche John Daniel Erinne

Dr. Erinne is a highly experienced Chemical Engineer with a B. Sc. (University of Lagos, 1977), M.Sc (Strathclyde University, Glasgow, 1979) and PhD (Loughborough  University, 1982).

He worked for SHELL, CAPL (ICI) and then TEXACO, where he was LPG Marketing Coodinator and later Plant Manager at the Apapa Terminal, Lagos, with overall responsibility for the company’s lube oil, grease and petroleum jelly production operations. He subsequently established Matrix Petro-Chem Ltd, an Oilfield Chemical Services and Lubricants concern. Dr Erinne is also the Managing Consultant of CHEX & Associates, Industrial & Energy Consultants.

He has served as Member/Secretary of the Anambra State, Nigeria Committee on Petroleum & Energy, as well as Member/Secretary of the National Petroleum Refineries Task Force of the Federal Government of Nigeria.

Dr. Erinne is a COREN Registered Professional Engineer in Nigeria and a Fellow of the Nigerian Academy of Engineering, the Nigerian Society of Engineers and the Nigerian Society of Chemical Engineers (NSChE). He is also a Past President of NSChE.

He continues to be actively engaged in NSChE and currently serves as the Chairman of NSChE Foundation and the International Affairs Committee of the Society.

Dr. Erinne also serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of VITAVISCO Nigeria Limited and is a member of the Board of Directors of NEDOGAS Limited, a Port Harcourt based gas company.

NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Engr. Olaoluwa Ogunfeyitimi

A Chemical Engineer and a trade expert with very good knowledge of Business and Project Management and dedicated interest in factory start-ups and process optimization. He was the immediate past Managing Director of Vitafoam Sierra Leone Limited, a subsidiary of Vitafoam Nigeria Plc and also past Chairman of Nigeria Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture, Sierra Leone and currently the Head of Technical, Vitafoam Nigeria Plc

His work experience and academic qualifications have equipped him with a sound knowledge of business and process management, statistical data analysis, business performance measurement, resource optimization, operations management, and consulting.
As the pioneer Managing Director of Vitafoam, Sierra Leone Limited, a manufacturing company with competitive products in Sierra Leone and Guinea, He supervised the state of the art factory in sierra Leone from construction to equipment installation to commissioning.

Having worked in Nigeria and Sierra Leone, he has developed excellent knowledge of SMEs across the ECOWAS sub region; as well as working with teams across different backgrounds to deliver exceptional customer service in challenging business environments. He served as a member of the Sierra Leone Trade Policy formulation committee.

NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Mr. Ayobami Adeniji

A graduate of Chemistry from University of Ife, Ile Ife (Now Obafemi Awolowo University), Mr. Adeniji has a stint with Kano State Teaching Service before joining the then National Bank of Nigeria in 1990. He joined Vitafoam Nigeria Plc. As an Assistant Manager, in 1991 and rose to the position of Area Manager in 2004, Head of Logistics and Procurement of Vono Products Plc. in 2010, a position he held until his resignation in 2011. He became the pioneer Managing Director of Vitavisco Nigeria Ltd. in 2012 and resigned from the Company in 2014.

He is an Alumnus of Lagos Business School.
He is an Associate member of Nigeria Institute of Production Management.
Mr. Adeniji is a member of Polymer Institute of Nigeria and an Alumnus of Jos Business School as well.

DIRECTOR

Dr. Olutola Olaniyi Bob Soile

Dr. Soile holds B.Sc. (Hons) Chemistry from the University of Lagos, M.Sc Petrochemicals and Hydrocarbon Chemistry and Ph.D Industrial Chemistry from the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology (UMIST), Manchester, in the United Kingdom. He is a Senior Lecturer in Industrial Chemistry and the Dean, College of Pure and Applied Science, Caleb University, Imota, Lagos. Previously he was the Director Quality Assurance and Institution Effectiveness, Director Academic Planning and Head, Department of Chemistry.

Dr. Soile’s experience spans teaching and lecturing at various levels, Research & Development, Quality Systems, Manufacturing and General Management with exceptional leadership and entrepreneurial skills. He was R&D Manager, Technical Manager, Manufacturing Coordinator, Head of Industrial Product at Dunlop Nigeria Plc. At DN Meyer Plc, he held the position of Head of Manufacturing and Executive Director Manufacturing and later MD/CEO Gibraltar Rock Ltd between 2008 – 2009.

He is affiliated to the Chemistry Society of Nigeria, Society Chemical Industry (UK), Petroleum Institute (UK), The American Chemistry Society, a member of Polymer Institute of Nigeria, the Nigeria Institute of Production Management, The Nigeria institute of Management, Nigeria Environmental Society, the Royal Australian Chemical Institute, Institute of Chartered Chemist of Nigeria, and Institute of Directors.
